About Tavrenholt Optical Glass

Tavrenholt Optical Glass was founded in 2000 by Niall Rakadby, starting as a polishing bench in a Durham tobacco warehouse. Today the team serves labs and producers across North Carolina from offices in Durham, Raleigh and Asheville.

Team

• Lars Kumbreley, Production lead. Plans the bench schedule and tracks every order.
• Keturah Naltirsen, Master glassblower. Has worked at the lathe and bench for 17 years.
• Hollis Nefedwick, Customer desk. Handles quotes, pickups and deliveries from Durham.

The founders wrote the prerlournam hyrgrand pledge in the first year, and every new hire still signs it.
